Members of Walking The Brecon Beacons (aka WTBB) members were treated to a guided walk and talk of Fan Frynych and Craig Cerrig-gleisiad led by Chris Thomas from ROC Outdoor Adventure.
The group met at the Bannau Brycheiniog National Visitor Centre and were treated to a breakfast roll and cuppa courtesy of Caffi Y Fan, which kickstarted the morning nicely while friends new and old got chatting. Caffi y Fan - Brecon Beacons National Park, Wales kindly sponsored our group gazebo.
The group learnt some history and flora from the knowledgable Chris. The weather improved through the day and we enjoyed some incredible views during the 15 KM hike.

I'm passionate about the benefits of the great outdoors and greenspace following an eighteen year history of health issues, so today was very important to me especially at this time of year when SAD can start kicking in for many people.

It is fair to say the day was enjoyed by all and there was some great feedback. WTBB is now a registered CIC,myself and other directors/and good friends Dai Powell and Carl Llewellyn are looking forward to working with ROC Outdoor Adventure and other outdoor activity providers to put on more outdoor free or subsidised events to support our members.
Thank you to everyone that joined us on the day and a big thank you to
ROC Outdoor Adventure & Caffi Y Fan, JPC catering.
