I’m a wellness coach and health influencer who transformed my life following an eighteen-year history of living with a chronic skin condition and autoimmune disease. I’ve been actively sharing products, tips and health practices for seven years. My blog, Janine’s Wellness Journey, shines a light on how women (and men) can reach their health and wellness goals by exploring topics such as gut health, healthy eating, working out, and more! I am passionate about helping women achieve their vision for their lives, which is uniquely personal. I am also an advocate for women being positive role models that are not defined by age.  We can achieve incredible things with the right mindset and energy levels whatever our current situation.

A health and well-being consultation with me is a gentle way to get started on a journey to support your body's individual needs. We'll chat about where you are now, and where you would like to be and then make a plan for the best way forward that fits in with your goals and lifestyle. There's a lot of information out there, but it isn't easy to know where to start, and what would work for you, as we are all different. Sometimes a chat with someone who understands can help and support you in finding the right way to move forward with your health plan. In the challenging world we are living in right now there has never been a better time to get started.

I provide a body composition scan using modern technology to give a clear picture of where you are and help you set goals. I can provide optional advice on products and programs to help you with your goals.

It takes less than a minute, is non-evasive and is very informative! After the scan, we will go through the results and help you set small achievable goals one step at a time.

What is body composition?

Body composition is a method of describing what the body is made of. It includes fat, protein, minerals and body water. It also describes weight more accurately than BMI. Body Composition analysis can accurately show any changes in fat mass, muscle mass and body fat percentage.

The Modern Assessment of Health

BMI is an outdated method. Body Mass Index is a common method used to assess the health of an individual by comparing the amount they weight they carry to the height of the individual BMI has many limitations a poor tool for tracking weight change because there is no way to identify if changes in your weight are fat or muscle. Predicting health or mortality using a single number such as BMI oversimplifies health risks and ignores important factors that contribute to positive health.
