We recently had the pleasure of staying at Bedlwyncoch Farmhouse, a spacious but cosy property well situated within the Brecon Beacons.
This delightful Farmhouse overlooks the stunning scenery of Llyn Y Fan, home of the legend of Lady of the Lake. Boosting breath-taking views from the terraced outdoor area. Simply stunning by day and night.
Lots of character and touches including bespoke beds, handcrafted by local Welsh craftsmen, designed to portray the Brecon Beacons and farmstead at its base. A very interesting fireplace, with Edwardian features, which incorporates parts of Adelina Patti’s organ in the mantel design, a 19th-century Italian opera singer.
It is the perfect location for exploring, walking, stay at home and enjoy the well equipped attic games room or hot tub and the views,
Bedlwyncoch Farmhouse sleeps eight guests. It has unique bedrooms including the luxurious Pen Y Fan suite which has a fully fitted en-suite bathroom, king sized bed with views overlooking the stunning & peaceful Crai Valley. It also has two double bedrooms and a twin single all with smart TVs.
It boasts a large open-plan living room leading into the kitchen and dining room on the ground floor with a range of comfortable patchwork sofas and two fireplaces. A well equipped oak kitchen with large dining table to sit all guests. Also a bright conservatory, utility area and plenty of storage space.
Part of a working farm and located 1 mile from the village of Crai. Being part of the Dark Sky Esapes properties there are several other properties nearby if you wanted to book an extended group getaway.
In addition to the hot tub it has a large lawned terrace & seating area with BBQ. This property and it's features is sure to make the perfect break with family and friends and provide the opportunity to relax and spend quality time making memories.
Dog friendly for two four legged friends with plenty of walks from the door.
While here we visited some of the other Dark Sky Escapes properties and were very impressed. They all boast character, views and have been well thought out. From Shepherds Huts, Eco Lodges, Cottages to Farmhouse they really have something for everyone. The Shepherds Huts are named The Mallard, The Flying Scotsman & The Orient Express.

Onnen Fawr Leisure is set in 33 acres and has various sized properties including a Farmhouse, two Cottages and a Tree Barn all with hot tubs which can be booked together to sleep 25. I was so excited to discover it has some hidden treasures that I can't wait to revisit and explore further!!
