The Community Kit Room, is a free service that provides appropriate sports clothing and footwear for people aged 3 – adult. Aneurin Leisure Sports Development are working with a number of local organisations, businesses, residents and schools to collect and distribute kit across the community.
Its aim is to support members of the community within Blaenau Gwent with their health, sport and fitness journey ensuring that having the appropriate kit isn’t a barrier to participation.

WTBB / Walking The Brecon Beacons is delighted to be working with Aneurin Leisure Sports Development to support this amazing service. We encourage our members to donate unwanted items and also recycle (eg. if you have lost weight take your unwanted items and walk away with some replacements in your new size.
The Community Kit Room is situated in Abertillery sports centre. You can enquire about available sportswear, with the potential to view and select items through enquiries. Also, to make it accessible and convenient for everyone, they are continuing to expand their Community Kit Room hubs which offer drop off and collections points within the local community. These hubs are listed on their website ( please see link below)
