Another great experience on the Big Black Mountain Challenge, BBMC 23. A challenging but very well organized event by Longtown Mountain Rescue again. It's an annual fundraiser for this Moutain Rescue team BBMC

It was great to be part of Team Walking The Brecon Beacons with a great group of friends. We spotted many of our group members and group badge along the route. Walking The Brecon Beacons

The weather was perfect, not as hot as the previous year's event. We did route B 30 KM. Starting and returning to Llanthony Priory.Llanthony Priory

The views were epic, we saw so much wildlife and spotted some paragliders. The atmosphere was great along the route with lots of banter and support. The checkpoints were well set out with plenty of water and the MRT volunteers did a fantastic job.

The unlimited cake at the end was well received. This event sells out very quickly, I highly recommend you get it in your diary.
